New Trends in the Struggle for Global Governance

 

Abstract

Our objective is to approve, that Stiglitz thesis about global governance without global government (2001) has significantly broader historical relevance and that the beginning of this process can be tracked back to the beginning of 20th century. According to historical facts we observe, that targeted persuasion of global governance through money has three milestones: creation of FED (1913) and Bretton-Wood system (1944) of global governance were dominant assets of USA and beginning of global crisis (2008) combined with the transformation to multipolar  system and complicated contest for positions within this system. Demonstration of historical genesis of global governance is contributing to deeper and more integral understanding of current demonstrations of this phenomenon.

UNUSUAL EMPLOYMENT On the Hungarian-Slovak bordeR

 

Abstract

In 2014 we were performing a research with the aim to identify the position of enterprises, young men and the unemployed people along on the Hungarian and Slovak border. On the region between Komárom – Komárno and Štúrovo – Esztergom we investigated the opinion of responders about the atypical forms of employment. The opinions were recorded in a questionnaire, which was distributed on paper but also in electronic form. The project was the second phase longitudional research on same problem, and in the future we plan to continue it on the region Gemer-Zemplín. The following paper is a short summary of the research.

THE POSSIBILITIES OF INCREASING THE COMPETITIVENESS

OF THE BANKS IN UKRAINE IN TERMS OF THE EU INTEGRATION

 

Abstract

  There are main directions of formation the strategy of increasing the competitiveness of the banks in terms of Ukraine integration into the European Economic Area in the article. The role of banking in the formation of effective marketing strategies of the sbank in modern conditions has revealed. Preliminary analysis of integration of domestic commercial banks to the European banking market has done. Regional specifics of bank marketing has grounded the example of Transcarpathian (Zakarpatya’s) region. The perspective of marketing activities regional structural unit banks and the banking system of Ukraine has elucidated.

Contractual penalty in business contractual relationships

 

Abstract

Contractual penalty is a very popular and effective tool for ensuring contractual obligations in the Slovak commercial law. Contractual penalty has a particular preventive, punitive and reparation function. In this article, the author deals with the essential rules of the contractual penalty in the Commercial and Civil Code, compares the legal rules in both laws and deals with the essential attributes of the contractual penalty as a private tool. The article is also focused on a moderation law court and on the most common errors that occur in the formulation of contractual penalties. Author deals with the interpretation of various legal rules and also with decision-making activities of Slovak courts in this theme.
